Dataset

Data underlying the research presented in my thesis, including a manuscript currently in preparation "A microfluidic platform for extraction and analysis of bacterial genomic DNA". Including fluorescence and Mass Spec.

The data contains raw and processed 3D time resolved fluorescent images of spheroplasts and nucleoids in microfluidics traps. The data has been split at each time point to individual planes, such that all tiff files are 2D. The dataset includes all object detection, segmentation, and quantification results (i.e. all intermate steps of analysis). The data allowed for tracking spheroplasts trapping on the device, their lysis, nucleoid expansion, and analyzing various properties such nucleoid size, structure and dynamics at range of conditions (e.g. addition of crowding molecule or a DNA binding protein). The data can be loaded and analyzed with tools provided at this Zenodo repository.
