Data underlying dissertation chapter 5: FT-IR micro-spectroscopy for imaging the extracellular matrix composition in biofilms

The goal of this project was to explore the extracellular polymeric substance spatial distribution across anaerobic granular sludge samples using FT-IR micro-spectroscopy. This in-situ non-destructive approach makes is possible to visualize the relative differences of multiple different polymers.
