Dataset
This dataset accompanies the study “Accumulation of defense systems in phage-resistant strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa” and contains data generated to examine how bacterial populations adapt to phage infection by acquiring multiple immune systems. The research objective was to determine the diversity, prevalence, and functional contribution of defense systems that accumulate in P. aeruginosa strains resistant to bacteriophages. Data were collected through comparative genomic analyses, and experimental phage infection assays to evaluate the relationship between genetic defense content and resistance phenotypes. The dataset includes experimental measurements of phage resistance to reproduce the findings.
