Goal: The aim of the project was to investigate whether S.aureus proteins SPIN and 6PGD via the formation of the hybrid auto-antigen SPIN:MPO or MPO mimitope 6PGD could explain the differential aetiologies of the disease GPA (Granulomatosis with polyangitis) caused by MPO-ANCA (Anti Neutrophil Cytoplasmic Autoantibodies).
Methods: Isolation kinetic verification of S.Aureus 6PGD and SPIN by means of Activity measurements, see Readme for further specifications.
Determination of antibody reactivity/titers using ELISA in sera from patients with MPO ANCA and healthy individuals against the hybrid auto-antigen MPO:ANCA or 6PGD, see Readme for further specifications.
Data: Antibody titers ELISA and (Kinetics) colorigenic activity assays.
