This dataset contains the experimental data and modelling presented in the paper “Self-organization of river vegetation leads to emergent buffering of river flows and water levels”, with the above contributors as authors. The dataset contains the underlying data (model outputs and field measurements from two chalk streams) and the Matlab code of the model presented in the manuscript.
