Dataset

Mean flow statistics from direct numerical simulation of plane channel flow of forced air convection. The dataset features 20 flow cases at bulk Mach number 0.2 and friction Reynolds number up to 3000, spanning several bulk-to-wall temperature ratios, including cases with wall heating and wall cooling. The mean flow statistics include profiles of the mean momentum and thermal balance, averaged in the homogeneous directions and in time. Mean profiles are complemented by friction and heat transfer coefficients. Data are organized in folders named after the flow cases in table 1 of the reference publication.
