The code and data in this repository is part of the data and code underlying the article Perceptually-Constrained Spotforming-Inspired Spatial Audio (currently under submission to IEEE/ACM Transactions in Audio, Speech and Language Processing). This work outlines an algorithm which can be used to compute the loudspeaker playback signals for a surround-sound type of system. The proposed algorithm allows for non-ideal loudspeaker placement and for varying listener locations. The code in this repository implements the algorithms considered in the article and allows for reproducing the figures in the article. The data in this repository contains the anonymized subjective listening test results.
