Inside EU Horizon 2020 project: ALPHEUS, a Positive Displacement Reversible Pump-Turbine is studied as potential use for low-head pumped hydro storage applications. This dataset includes the setup to retrieve the surface pressure on a reversible lobe pump-turbine, which is further applied as boundary condition to assess the mechanical loads and displacements in ANSYS Mechanical. Maximum surface pressure on the lobe pump-turbine during one revolution is calculated using ANSYS CFX and TwinMesh.
