This dataset contains the motion response in 6 degrees of freedom and the 3 mooring line tensions of a 1:96 model of the OC5 DeepCWind semisubmersible floating offshore wind turbine foundation with a taut-leg mooring system in waves. Experiments have been carried out in the #2 towing tank of Delft University of Technology using regular and irregular waves according to scaled-down site conditions offshore the Mediterranean island of Lampedusa with full-scale water depth of 100 m. Furthermore, multi-sine waves were employed for system identification. Two different mooring line configurations, one with linear springs and the other with nonlinear nylon mooring lines were tested under aforementioned wave conditions and with different mooring line pretension. Aerodynamic thrust force was emulated using a constant tension winch and stiff line connected at nacelle height on the floating turbine model. The applied aerodynamic load is reported along with the other data. All data is at model scale, low-pass filtered at 10 Hz, and reported in csv files with a sampling rate of 100 Hz.
