Data underlying the publication: Assessment of in-situ tidal marsh erodibility under high flow velocities
doi: 10.4121/8dfca93b-ffff-4e1d-b2e3-fe980716c658
This dataset contains data collected during the in-situ field experiment at Hedwigepolder (December 2020) as part of the PhD research by M. van den Berg. During the experiment, tidal marsh was exposed to flow velocities up to 1.3 m/s via construction of in-situ flow flumes. Water to the flume was supplied via a pump system and freely accelerated down the adjacent levee towards the tidal marsh. Vegetation response was observed and bed level measurements done. Soil samples were taken for laboratory tests.
This dataset mainly serves to complement the publication. Nonetheless, the data is suitable for own analysis and interpretation if interested. The data is raw or partially processed. More information to post-process the data can be found in the README.
