Pneumatic Unit Cells (PUC) are soft, hollow cylinder actuators fabricated using silicone. This repository contains the data presented in the MPDI Actuators journal titled 'Fabrication and Characterization of Pneumatic Unit Cell Actuators'.

The dataset contains:

  1. Top layer thickness measurements of 0.6 mm, 0.9 mm, and 1.2 mm PUC designs (Figure 3).
  2. Free deflection measurements under static pressure condition of 0.6 mm, 0.9 mm, and 1.2 mm PUC designs, with three samples per design (Figure 7).
  3. Blocking force measurements under static pressure condition of 0.9 mm and 1.2 mm PUC designs, with three samples per design (Figure 8).
  4. Free deflection measurements under frequency condition of 0.9 mm and 1.2 mm PUC designs, with three samples per design (Figure 10).
