Dataset

This dataset is a supplementary set of experimentally derived videos and animations to support the findings documented in the Master Thesis titled 'Acoustofluidic Levitation in Organoid Cultures - Tuning Ultrasound to Cluster Cells'. These may be referred alongside the thesis for a visual depiction of the experimental findings in the work.

The MSc thesis referred herein demonstrated the synergy between Acoustofluidics as a technological tool to enhance Organoid Cultures as an an application domain. The experimental work involved the in-house fabrication of a BAW resonator to demonstrate the trapping performance of microspheres. Laser Doppler Vibrometry was used for transducer characterization, animations of which are included in this dataset. Further, live brightfield imaging was carried out to characterize the trapping performance, and the demonstrative videos recorded in these experiments are included in this dataset along with stitched images of the complete fluid chamber in view.

These videos and animations have been described in Appendix C of the thesis whose TUD repository link has been provided as a reference with this dataset.
