Dataset
This data package provides datasets of laser-assisted automated fiber placement (LAFP) simulations, with temperature outputs for various sets of input process parameters.
This dataset contains:
- Documentation that summarizes the modelling approach as well as the (varied) input and output parameters.
- Data files containing inputs and corresponding temperature outputs at several predefined locations in the LAFP process, for a grid based sampling, Latin Hypercube Sampling method, and uniform random sampling.
- Matlab script file (in `/model`) for constructing the multi-physics model in COMSOL.
The dataset may be used to train machine learning systems or benchmarking against other physics-based simulations.
