The data set comprises measurement data of 7 individual towing tests performed with a kite equipped with a suspended kite control unit. The kite was tethered to a towing vehicle driving on a runway to produce a controlled relative flow environment. For data acquisition, the kite is equipped with a measurement unit and the tensile force in the tether was measured using a tension meter.
