Dataset

Dataset for the article "Effect of adherend thickness on near-field ultrasonic welding of single-lap CF/LMPAEK thermoplastic composite joints". The research objective was to study the effect of chaning the top and bottom adherends' thickness on the welding process and machine output (consumed power, downward sonotrode displacement, and amplitude). Different analysis methods were used to gain more insights on said effect, such as temperature readings, high-speed camera recordings, and microscopy images. The raw data found in this repository contains Excel files with the welding machine output (consumed power, downward sonotrode displacement, and amplitude), Excel files with the temperature readings obtained with thermocouples, high-speed camera videos, and micrographs.
