Datasets usually provide raw data for analysis. This raw data often comes in spreadsheet form, but can be any collection of data, on which analysis can be performed.
The data covers the geographical North Sea and is made up of GIS layers concerning infrastructure; offshore EEZ borders, blocks allocated for petroleum exploration, oil & gas installations, cables, cable landings, pipelines, windpark areas, dedicated shipping routes and Marine Protected Areas (UK)
