COLLABORATION

4TU.ResearchData works closely with partners and participates in various (inter)national projects and networks to ensure the accessibility of scientific research.

The Carpentries

The Carpentries - 4TU.ResearchData started collaborating with The Carpentries in 2018 to deliver Software Carpentry workshops for researchers from partner universities of 4TU.ResearchData. In addition to Software Carpentry workshops, we collaborate with researchers to develop and deliver discipline-specific data carpentry workshops.

Skills4EOSC Consortium

Skills4EOSC -  4TU.ResearchData is a member of the Skills4EOSC consortium which successfully secured an Horizon Europe grant. In addition to developing a curriculum for data stewards, we will also build professional networks for lifelong learning for data steward communities in Europe and disciplinary communities for FAIR Data for AI and Health & Technology.

Thematic Digital Competence Center for Natural and Engineering Sciences

The TDCC NES - In 2021, 4TU.ResearchData co-led the NWO-funded proposal for a thematic Digital Competence Center for Natural and Engineering Sciences. The centre will strengthen the networking and collaboration for FAIR data, software and computation within the domain of Natural and Engineering Sciences.

Research Data Netherlands (RDNL)

RDNL logo

Research Data Netherlands (RDNL) - RDNL is a partnership between 4TU.ResearchData, Data Archiving and Networked Services (DANS), Dutch Techcentre for Life Sciences (DTL) and SURF. With this coalition, the partners work together to secure access to and archiving of research data in the future.

Landelijk Coordinatiepunt Research Data Management

Landelijk Coordinatiepunt Research Data Management - LCRDM facilitates a national strategy for research data management in the Netherlands. 4TU.ResearchData is a part of the workgroup Research Support and Advice.

DataCite

DataCite - DataCite is a leading global non-profit organisation that provides persistent identifiers (DOIs) for research data. The goal is to help the research community locate, identify, and cite research data with confidence. 4TU.ResearchData is collaborating with DataCite by assigning Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to datasets.

Research Data Alliance (RDA)

Research Data Alliance (RDA) - The Research Data Alliance builds the social and technical bridges that enable open sharing of data through working groups and interest groups, formed of experts from around the world. In 2014, 4TU.ResearchData was one of the hosts of the RDA Plenary Meeting in Amsterdam.

CESAER

Conference of European Schools for Advanced Engineering Education and Research (CESAER) - CESAER is a non-profit international association of leading European universities of science and technology and engineering schools/faculties at comprehensive universities and university colleges. 4TU.ResearchData contributes to the CESAER group on Research Data.
