Dataset
An experimental setup involving various sensors mounted on an AFP head was implemented to simultaneously measure the sources of manufacturing variations
in AFP composites. The measurements were made during the layup to investigate the relative significance of these sources. The experimental setup consisted of an AFP head instrumented with a laser tracker, a camera and laser line scanners. Each of these sensors measured a particular source of variation. The laser tracker measured robot accuracy. The camera measured tow lateral movement. The laser line scanners measured the width of the tow before and after compaction.
This dataset contains the measured data from the sensors mentioned above. A readme file explains the file structure of the dataset.
