Dataset

The uploaded dataset contains quasi-static Mode II delamination test data from End-Loaded Split (ELS) and Planar Central Loaded Split (PCLS) configurations. The dataset includes force–displacement/deflection responses recorded using a Zwick uniaxial testing machine (ELS) and an MTS machine (PCLS), damage events captured via an Acoustic Emission (AE) system, and delamination growth measurements. For each specimen configuration, surface strain fields obtained through 3D Digital Image Correlation (DIC) are also provided. Additionally, for the ELS tests, the Energy Release Rate (ERR) was evaluated using both the J-integral method and the Calibrated Beam Theory with Effective Crack Length (CBTE) approach, as recommended in ISO 15114.

This comprehensive dataset is openly available to the research community and can be integrated into future studies on delamination mechanics.
