Software
Blade-element-momentum theory code for predicting propeller performance at positive and negative thrust conditions for uniform inflow conditions. The code includes corrections for compressibility and root-tip effects and is able to handle the calculations for the operation of propellers in the energy-harvesting regime (negative thrust conditions).
For the validation data of the code, please refer to the paper "Benchmarking of Aerodynamic Models for Isolated Propellers Operating at Positive and Negative Thrust".
You will need to have suitable polar data of your propeller geometry to use this code. This code is written in MATLAB.
Check out the README.md file for instructions on how to use the code.
