This dataset supports the study “Barriers and solutions for homeowners’ associations undertaking deep energy renovations of condominiums.”

It compiles evidence from literature review and expert focus groups to identify, categorize, and evaluate barriers that impede deep energy renovation in multi-apartment buildings (condominiums) managed by homeowners’ associations.

The dataset also includes proposed solutions and policy interventions, together with expert-assigned weights reflecting the perceived importance or impact level of each barrier. Finally, the dataset documents reflections and feedback from additional experts on the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed solutions, providing a triangulated understanding of challenges and mitigation pathways.
