Interoperability

This dataset contains 3D seismic data with 3-component sesmic sources (vertical forces and two cross-polarized horizontal forces) and 3-component receivers (673x3=2028 receiver channels), acquired in Scheemda, Groningen province, the Netherlands. The electric linear-motor-system (LMS) vibrator of Seismic Mechatronics in vertical and horizontal modes was used as vertical- and horizontal-force sources, respectively. 3C geophone nodes (676x3 = 2028 receiver channels) are used in the data acquisition. This survey was mainly intended for imaging spatially varying subsoil density using a full-waveform inversion technique as part of Yusuke Kawasaki's PhD project.
