This dataset contains raw scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and spectroscopy (STS) measurements of bismuth on a Ge(111) substrate. Additionally, it contains density functional theory (DFT) simulations on the same Bi/Ge(111) system.
This dataset contains the raw and manipulated data presented in the paper found at https://doi.org/10.1103/3ws2-w84r. The STM topography images can be opened using the open-source Gwyddion tool (https://gwyddion.net/). Each topography file contains both the raw and final version of the image. The STS curves are stored in a plain-text format. The DFT simulations were performed using the open-source SIESTA toolkit (https://siesta-project.org/), and can be loaded in via SIESTA.
