The content of this data set is the data that has been used for the publication of the article "Dating Celtic fields with Luminescence". We have performed both small-aliquot quartz OSL measurements and single-grain feldspar pIRIR measurements to 1) test which luminescence dating sampling strategy is best suited to obtain adequate information to understand the age and formation process of Celtic field banks, 2 ) investigate what luminescence procedures provide robust information on the ages of bank construction and formation processes, and 3) interpret what the luminescence data tell us about the age and formation processes of Celtic field banks. The measurements were performed on 6 samples collected from the Celtic field in Vaassen, and 7 samples collected from the Celtic field in Zeijen. The results of the measurements were analysed using the "Luminescence" package in R and age models coded in Matlab. The dataset includes all of the raw data of the measurements (*.binx/*.SEQ/*.sec/*.txt); scripts (*.R/*.m), input data, results of analyses involving R (*.R/*.pdf/*.csv/*.xlsx); and other additional analyses required for the research (*.xlsx/*.pdf/*.csv), including the results of the filtering method.
