Investigating the relationship between perceived mathematics self-efficacy and mathematics performance scores. A non-experimental cross-sectional design using a questionnaire was employed. Data consists of self-reported mathematics self-efficacy using 5 points rating scale and students' answers for the items. The participants for this study were first year polytechnic students taking a mathematics module.
