This dataset contains alkenone indices (UK37 and RIK37) in Lake Ngoring sediment core over the last 2,000 years. Group 1 alkenone-based UK37 with RIK37<0.7 from the sediment core can be used to reconstruct cold season temperature changes on the northeastern Tibetan Plateau. Alkenone were analyzed by an Agilent 8890N GC system equipped with a flame ionization detector (FID).
