Dataset

Accelerations, speeds and instantaneous centers of rotation of two infant dummy heads (representing 6-week-old and 1-year-old) recorded in order to compare the kinematics of shaking a smaller versus a larger infant dummy. Contains experimental data from 146 shaking trials. Obtained using accelerometers, gyroscopes and an optical motion capturing system.

Positions and accelerations of head and torso of two infant dummies (representing 6-week-old and 1-year-old) during violent shaking. Recorded in order to compare the kinematics of shaking a smaller versus a larger infant dummy. Dataset contains experimental data from 146 shaking trials. Data recorded using accelerometers, gyroscopes and an optical motion capturing system.
