This dataset includes the raw data and processed data related to the paper "Small concentrations of NaCl help building stable inhibiting layers from 2,5-

dimercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole (DMTD) on AA2024-T3". doi:10.1016/j.corsci.2023.111562. This research aims to understand the interaction of an organic inhibitor: DMTD with the AA2024-T3 and the stability of inhibiting layers. This is a fundamental study on the corrosion inhibitor for AA2024-T3. The method of data collection includes in-situ electrochemical potential noise correlated with optical images, SEM, XPS, and Raman spectroscopy. The data were exported from the set-up as TXT/EXCEl/PNG/JPG/TIFF/WORD file. The plots are processed in Origin and saved as OPJU and PNG.
