***General Introduction***

This dataset contains all the data relevant to Chapter 5 of L.M. de Almeida Nieto's doctoral dissertation, collected between 2024 and 2025.

The data in this data set was collected in the Alfeld Lab of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of TU Delft.

This research project was made possible by by funding from TU Delft.

***Purpose of the test campaign***

The purpose of these experiments was to evaluate differeny smart scanning strategies for MA-XRF measurements.

***Test equipment***

MA-XRF data was acquired using the in-house built BLB Mark I MA-XRF scanner. Information on the scanner can be found on Chapter 4 of the related dissertation.
