Dataset

This dataset contains the raw data underlying the figures in the publication: Tunability of Topological Edge States in Germanene at Room Temperature. The dataset contains STS and STM data obtained using an Omicron Low-Temperature Scanning Tunneling Microscope (LT-STM) at 77K and 300K. In this publication, we show that the topological edge states of germanene persist at room temperature using STS and STM measurements. Additionally, we demonstrate that, even at room temperature, applying an external electric field switches the topological states of germanene off. These findings indicate that germanene's topological properties can be maintained and controlled at room temperature, making it a promising material for low-energy electronic applications.
