Dataset

This dataset contains measured time traces of a pursuit/preview tracking experiment performed with 10 participants in TU Delft's HMI-Lab simulator. In the experiment, participants were actively distracted from their primary control using the Surrogate Reference Task (SuRT) and these moments where participants looked away from the primary task were measured with an eye tracker. All signals relevant to the performed control task and the eye tracker data are included in the datafile, see attached README file. In the publication on this dataset, the data is used to train classification algorithms to detect the moments at which human controllers were distracted from their primary task from these measured time traces.
