Dataset

Supplementary example data for the paper "Using splines for point spread function calibration at non-uniform depths in localization microscopy".

The dataset consists of ".mat" files containing PSF function images or cspline models. There are three types of files in the dataset (XXXX refers to the calibration depth. ):

  • "astig_PSF_base_sphXXXX.mat" - Simulated astigmatic PSF function image z-stack with pure PSF functions (intensity sums to 1, no background, no shot noise)
  • "astig_PSF_diffspline_dpXXXX.mat" - Simulated astigmatic diffspline PSF model coefficients
  • "astig_smooth_sphXXXX_3Dcorr.mat" - Simulated astigmatic cspline PSF model coefficients

The data was generated with the code provided in open access on GitHub at https://github.com/qnano/diffspline. The data is also available in open access on SurfDrive at https://surfdrive.surf.nl/files/index.php/s/2oxletO4GkLAWbg.
