Dataset

Flooating Car Data in 153 curves in The Netherlands were collected at a resolution of 1 Hz and were filtered on free-flow periods, to analyse over 800 thousand unique continuous free-flow speed observations on these curves. These speed profiles were aggregated to specific break points along the speed profile, and per curve the 85th percentile was extracted. These speeds and positions are given in this database, along with relevant curve characteristics. The variables are explained in an additional sheet.
