This dataset has been stored for the purpose of showing the data used in the drawings and results in the text of the current submission to JGR:Earth Surface, entitled: The Migrating Speed of Free Alternate Bars.
The object of this study is the migrating speed of alternate bars, and the objective is to understand the existence of spatial distribution of the migrating speed and the dominant physical quantity. Three research methods are used: flume experiments, numerical calculation on actual rivers, and theory. There are the 3-types data in this dataset. The data in the folder 'AppendixA', 'Flume_experiment_case1' and 'Flume_experiment_case2' were measured in July 2021 at the aurhor's experimental facility at Niigata University. The data in the folder 'Section 6' were obtained using the authors' calculation code. all data type are .csv
Please read README.md for the details.
