A code was written to model the effect of a riparian (willow) forest on incoming waves, and what the effect of the wave reduction has on dike safety with respect to erosion of the outer slope of a grass dike in the Netherlands (due to wave impact and wave run-up).

These models were developed within the WOODY project but we are not sure when they will be published. We've therefore embargoed for the duration of the project
