Visualisation of axial strain field during the uniaxial tension of a composite material reinforced with fibers highlighted in red. The simulation was run in FEM with PyJive, as part of a machine learning training dataset. The project led by Jos te Hennepe about "data requirements in surrogate modelling" was part of the CIEM1301 Advanced Computational Mechanics course of 2024 at TU Delft.
