Dataset

Experimental dataset of wind tunnel campaigns with a propeller-wing-flap model, for the purpose of numerical validation or flow analysis. Acquired at the Low Turbulence Tunnel of the Delft University of Technology between 2021 and 2024.


The dataset consists of the following measurement data:

  • Chordwise wing surface pressure distributions
  • Sectional aerodynamic polars of the wing in powered and unpowered configurations
  • Total pressure distributions in the wake of the wing
  • 7-hole pressure probe measurements of various measurements planes around the wing, yielding static pressure, total pressure and velocity component distributions
  • Oil flow visualisations on both sides of the wing (qualitative)
  • Infrared Thermography (qualitative)
