Interoperability

This dataset contains the supporting materials for Chapter 5 of Yusuke Kawasaki’s PhD project, which investigates appropriate source components for subsoil density estimation using 3D FWI. It includes preprocessed seismic data, input files for the FWI workflow, numerical investigation results (synthetic seismograms), inversion results (shear-wave velocity and density models), geotechnical measurements used to verify the FWI outcomes, and the associated codes for FWI and result visualization. The raw seismic data and their description are available at 10.4121/c0b73c25-4e3c-483b-856c-833dd8da2ad4, and the raw geotechnical data and their description are available at 10.4121/c5036e17-938a-4b78-b223-d0ac8f65b702. This dataset supports research aimed at demonstrating the advantages of using SH/Love-wave–dominated data and the simultaneous use of two cross-polarized horizontal-force sources to achieve reliable subsoil density estimation with FWI.
