This repository contains the LES input files and processed data/figures belonging to the publication "On the performance of the helix wind farm control approach in the conventionally neutral atmospheric boundary layer" by E. Taschner, A. van Vondelen, R. Verzijlbergh and J.W. van Wingerden (2023). In this work, large-eddy simulations of a two-turbine wind farm are performed, where the upstream turbine employs the helix wind farm control approach. The objective of the study is to quantify the sensitivity of the achievable power gain and the turbine loads with respect to the pitch amplitude of the control actuation signal. The processed data in this repository contains the power gain/loss of the turbines, the loading in terms of damage equivalent loads (DEL) of the major turbine components, spectra of the blade root bending moments and vertical mean profiles of the streamwise velocity and turbulence kinetic energy in the wake.
