Datasets usually provide raw data for analysis. This raw data often comes in spreadsheet form, but can be any collection of data, on which analysis can be performed.
The stability and hydraulic resistance of tree trunks in permanent flow has been measured in a flume. Incipient motion of the trunks has been determined using photographic observation. Velocities are measured with EMS, Dataset contains pictures and velocity observations (sample frequency 100Hz). [dataset catalogue is in English, background thesis in Dutch]
