This dataset provides supplementary information to the article "Ethical Issues in Focus by the Autonomous Vehicles Industry" (Transport Reviews). It features the following information: (i) list of companies with AV testing permit in California as of June 2020; (ii) list of reports, issued by companies with AV testing permit in California, which were analyzed in the research; (iii) keywords associated with particular ethical issues which were used in the data-mining algorithm applied to the industry reports; (iv) overview of the ethical issues found in the reports of companies with AV testing permit in California; and (v) relevant text signaling ethical issues located in the industry reports of different companies with AV testing permit in California.
