***General Introduction***
This dataset contains data collected during a simulation test conducted in 2017, as part of Phan Anh Nguyen PhD Thesis project.
It is being made public both to act as supplementary data for publications and the PhD thesis of Phan Anh Nguyen and in order for other researchers to use this data in their own work.
This research project was made possible by a grant from the Vietnamese Government Scholarship 911.
***Purpose of the housing survey***
The purpose of these test was to investigate the effects of different facade refurbishment options in building performance.
*** Method***
The test was conducted using a building simulation software, Desgin Builder. A model of a tube house case was created in the software. The model was calibrated using measurement data. After the calibration, the model was used to test different facade option on the building performance.
The results from the test is exported into MS excel file.
***Description of the data in this data set***
The data is listed in several excel files. Main parameters are temperature (celcius degree) and relative humidity (%).
File 'outdoor temp and RH Dec_Jan' contains measurement data of indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity. This data is used to calibrate the housing model.
File 'calibration' shows the calibration process where different tests were runs to create a best fit model.
File 'summar shade bedroom temp' presents simulated data where different shading option are tested during a summer month in Hanoi , Vietnam.
File 'test dutch' presents simulated data where highly insulated facade, based on Dutch regulation' are tested on a row house in Vietnam.
