The dataset in the file 'Additional_file2_TableS2.csv' contains genotyping data for the kelp Saccharina latissima in the form of ten microsatellite loci.

Data were obtained by PCR and subsequent Sanger sequencing on an ABI capillary sequencer. The raw data were processed using GeneMapper (Applied Biosystems, v4.0).

Column headings indicate:
ind: code for kelp individual.
Individual name meaning is as follows: e.g. SB01 means S=Saccharina_latissima (species), B=Brittany (origin sample) 01 (number of individual within location.
lat05, lat08, lat09, lat15, lat18, lat19, lat25, lat33, lat34, lat37: microsatellite locus names.
Microsatellite marker data are in number of basepairs as estimated by GeneMapper.
