***General Introduction***
The geochemical and zircon U-Pb dating data of the Milai section in the Gonjo Basin, Southeast Tibet

****Purpose of the test campaign***
The geochemical and zircon U-Pb dating data of the Milai section from the Gonjo Basin (Southeast Tibet) were used to establish an absolute Astronomical timescale and trace paleoclimate evolution of the Gonjo Basin.

***Test equipment***
The geochemical data were measured using an Innov-X Systems X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometer.
The zircon U-Pb dating were performed using an Agilent 7900 ICP-MS equipped with a coherent 193 nm excimer laser ablation system (GeoLas HD) .

***Description of the data in this data set***
Geochemical data (Raw data): Mn, Fe, Ca and Ti data.
Geochemical data (Age model): Fe/Mn and Ti/Ca data; floating astronomica timescale; absolute astronomica timescale.
Zircon U-Pb dating data (866 m): Raw dating data of the volcanic layer at 866 m in the Gonjo Basin.
