***General Introduction***
This dataset contains the results of the workshop conducted on 8th May 2024. This dataset contains the results of a workshop conducted on May 8, 2024. It supports chapter 6 of the doctoral thesis titled 
"Preparing Dutch Home for Energy Transitions: A Decision Support Framework for Renovating Existing Dutch Dwellings for Lower Temperature District Heating" by Prateek Wahi.

It is being made public both to act as supplementary data for publications and the PhD
thesis of Prateek Wahi and in order for other researchers to use this data in their own
work.

This study was carried out with the support from the MMIP 3&4 scheme of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs & Climate Change and the Ministry of the Interior & Kingdom Relations.

***Purpose of the dataset***
The data in this repository aims to validate the decision-support framework developed to guide the selection of renovation solutions for preparing existing dwellings for lower-temperature heating. It documents the results from the stakeholder workshop that validated the framework.

***Tools used for data generation***
The data was collected during the validation workshop. 

***Description of the data in this data set***
Human_Ethics_approval_letter.pdf: Approval letter from the TU Delft Human Ethics Research Committee for conducting a workshop with human subjects.

Informed_consent_Dutch.pdf: Informed consent document provided to workshop participants in Dutch.

Anonymised_Summaries.pdf: Transcribed, translated (from Dutch), and anonymized summaries of participants responses during the workshop.

P1_pairwise.xlsx, P2_pairwise.xlsx, P3_pairwise.xlsx, P4_pairwise.xlsx: Excel files capturing participants preferences using pairwise comparisons and calculating individual criteria weights. Each file corresponds to an individual participant.

TOPSIS_ranking.xlsx: Excel tool used to combine weights and calculate the ranking of the alternatives.
