***General Introduction***

This dataset contains data collected in an online experiment in the work for the publication "Predicting the Priority of Social Situations for Personal Assistant Agents", published in The 23rd International Conference on Principles and Practice of Multi-Agent Systems. The publication is part of Ilir Kola's PhD project. The dataset is being made public both to act as supplementary data for the publication, and in order for other researchers to use this data in their own work.

The data is collected through an online survey published in the platform Prolific Academic. The research project was made possible from funding from the NWO (CoreSAEP project, with project number 639.022.416).

*** Purpose of the online survey ***
In the survey participants were asked to describe their relationship with 5 people from their social circle. Furthermore, they were asked about their personal values. Participants were were presented with hypothetical scenarios involving themselves and people from their social circle, and were asked about the priority they would assign to each scenario. The purpose was to study whether we can predict the priority of a social situation based on information about the social relationship between the user and the other person in the situation.

*** Description of the data in this dataset ***
File priority_data.csv:
Each column represent a feature of the social relationship (features are described in the publication), and the last column is the priority of that situation.

File priority_data_with_all_values.csv:
Same as the previous file, but this one also contains columns which represent the personal values of the participants, which can be included as features of the model.

File Survey exploring the priority of social situations.pdf:
This file contains the questions from the online survey.
