Appendix K - Bill of Materials

This excel files contains a prleiminary estimate of the costs of each of the designed solutions.
These include the manufacturing and procurement costs for each component. The costs are estimated for a batch size of 10.000 units.
The data is mostly supplied by Quooker and suppliers of Quooker.
It is an estimation of the actual costs as the batch size of 10.000 unit doe snot always overlap with the pricing for Quooker.
All the costs are specified in dollars.

Custom Parts = Parts specifically designed for this project and need to be manufactured
Provcurement = Parts that can be procured from suppliers without any adjustments to specifications

Appendix M - UVC Dose Calculations

To determine the UV-C dose delivered and absorbed by the pathogens, it was necessary to account for several factors influencing the
UV-C radiation emitted by the UV-C LEDs intended to be used.Since the UV-C radiation absorbed by pathogens is influenced by pathogen
type, irradiance distance, reflectivity of reactor material, the UV transmittance in water, the results of these calculations are only an
estimation.

UVT = UV-C transmittance through water, how much of the radiation is abosrbed by the water over a certain distance
Relfectivity = Different materials refelct different amount of UV-C radiation.
Absorbance = hopw much of the UV-C radiation is absorbed by a specific pathogen for a specific wavelenght ov UV-C
Quartz = one of the few materials that lets high levels of UV-C through, and is encessary to prtocet the UV-C LEDs from water

Appendix L - Requirements

This appendix contains an overview of the requirements for water disinfection and the final product. These have been specified through the
analysis of the context of use. This list of requriements has been developed in accordance with a list of crtieria the WHO (World Health Organization) has
determined as crucial for the implementation of water treatment technologies
