***General Introduction***

This dataset contains an agent-based modeling (ABM) tool made in NetLogo (.nlogo) and the data used as input for this model. The dataset includes a subset of utility buildings in the Amsterdam built environment (.csv). The NetLogo model was utilized for evaluating policies to promote wood-based circular building practices within the Amsterdam built environment.

This research project was conducted as the final product of the master's thesis for the master's program in Engineering and Policy Analysis.

***Methodological information***
The input data consists of a subset of utility buildings in the Amsterdam built environment, collected using BAG data (Basisregistratie Adressen en Gebouwen, a key registry of buildings and addresses in the Netherlands - https://data.overheid.nl/en/dataset/basisregistratie-adressen-en-gebouwen--bag-).

The NetLogo model was developed in NetLogo 6.3.0. The BAG data originates from 18-10-2023.

***Description of the data in this data set***

The data included in the .csv file has the following columns:

identification = identification number of the building
surface = floor surface of the building in m2
construction_year = the year of construction of the building
function = the function of the building (office, other)
