How invasive oysters can affect parasite infection patterns in native mussels on a large spatial scale

This data file includes the raw data of parasite infection levels in 1280 hosts (640 blue mussels Mytilus edulis, 640 Pacific oysters Magallana gigas), 12 environmental factors, and location information. 
Column A) Region: Personal determined region in the Wadden Sea (1 = West Netherlands, 2 = East Netherlands, 3 = South Germany, 4 = North Germany).
Column B) Location: Number of sample location (oyster/mussel bed)
Column C) Plot: Plot number per location. The plot used was 1 m2 
Column D) Latitude: Latitude of sampled location
Column E) Longitude: Longitude of sampled location
Column F) Salinity: Salinity (in psu) per sampled location obtained by means of simulation with the General Estuarine Transport Model (GETM).
Column G) Exposure: Exposure time per location is the mean fraction of time that the seabed is exposed to the air. Obtained by means of simulation with the General Estuarine Transport Model (GETM).
Column H) Temperature: Sea water temperature (in C)
Column I) L_litorea: Abundance of large common periwinkles Littorina littorea (per m2) ? 14 mm
Column J) M_edulis: Total abundance of blue mussels Mytilus edulis (per m2) 
Column K) M_gigas: Total abundance of Pacific oysters Magallana gigas (per m2) 
Column L) Comm_eider: Average population number over the years 2010-2012 of common eider Somateria mollissima per tidal basin based on aerial winter counts
Column M) Oys_catcher: Average population number over the years 2010-2012 of oystercatchers (Haematopus ostralegus) per tidal basin based on high tide roots counts. 
Column N) Comm_gull: Average population number over the years 2010-2012 of common gulls (Larus canus) per tidal basin based on high tide roots counts.
Column O) BH_gull: Average population number over the years 2010-2012 of black-headed gulls (Chroicocephalus ridibundus) per tidal basin based on high tide roots counts.
Column P) Herr_gull: Average population number over the years 2010-2012 of herring gulls (Larus argentatus) per tidal basin based on high tide roots counts.

Column R) Host_length: Host size measured as the shell length (maximum anteroposterior axis, in mm)
