***General Introduction***
This dataset contains data collected during the shaking table experiments for sand cushion-base sliding layer composite isolation system for rural buildings at the Chongqing University. It is being made public to act as supplementary data for pubulications in order for other researchers to use this data in their own work.
The data in this data set was collected in the Sthe Shaking Table Earthquake Simulation Laboratory of Chongqing University, China, between April 2016.
This research project was made possible by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant No. 51368054)

***Purpose of the test campaign***
The purpose of the experiment was to investigate the seismic performance of a sand cushion-base sliding layer composite isolation system for rural buildings,as detailed in "data.xls"

***Test equipment***
All tests were performed on a a hydraulic servo shaking table made by MTS Systems Corporation, USA, the displacement was mearsured by unimeasure pull wire displacement sensors, the acceleration was measured by acceleration sensors, the test phenomenon was recorded by the camera.

***Description of the data in this data set***
The data included in this data set has been organised the original data and analysis results, the related instructions such as headlines, units and so on have been included in the data set.
